everything was beautiful
and what you longed for

when you were little
and you were held
Do you remember
when you were vulnerable
and did not know
what we know
Do you remember
when you were afraid
do you remember when there was
a touch of something cold
something dangerous?
Do you remember
that which was
before
you came here?
