Do I Need Another Person to Feel Good in Life?

Short answer: Yes and no.

Long answer: Feeling lonely is not a rarity. It’s pretty normal, and it’s part of being human. I believe it is necessary to experience loneliness.

But at the same time, it is also good to experience fellowship with others, friendship (and enmity), and love — both the spiritual and the physical, both the great, all-encompassing love, as well as the more banal, trivial love experience.

But when everything comes to everything — what are we left with? Us, ourselves!

I have myself, and I will always have myself. That’s the only thing that’s certain here.

Write on, friend!

Looking forward to what 2020 has for us.
